LBI Surf Guru is Long Beach Island, New Jersey’s most fun and highest rated surf school. Come learn to surf with The Guru and his friends.
We offer surf lessons, surf camps, surf board rentals, skim board lessons and SUP lessons. Most of our lessons are given on 31st Street in Ship Bottom but give us a call to inquire about Come to You Lessons, anywhere on LBI.

Beginner friendly
We only teach lessons in beginner friendly conditions. Always keeping an eye on the forecasts and weather, we will only bring you out on optimal waves for learning.
Flexibility
You might want to learn how to surf big waves on your own or maybe you are just looking to have fun and get some pictures. We will tailor lessons specifically to your surfing goals.
